"What do I do after a breakup?" Whether you are a woman or a man, most everyone at one time or another has experienced the hurt that comes with a breakup that you did not want to occur. It is a very natural reaction to want to get back with them and you may be experiencing those feelings right now.
There are right ways and wrong ways to go about this, but let me share with you one very helpful tip that can help you get back together again.
Before I even get into that though, a word of caution. If your breakup just occurred recently, the worst thing that you can do right now is hound your ex. A constant barrage of phone calls is exactly what you do not want to do right now. A little time apart is not always a bad thing, even for couples with healthy relationships. So give your ex some space for a period of time.
Once some time has passed, you can start to reach out. Today's world of technology offers so very many channels in which to do so, between cells phones, texting, email, wall posts on FBook, Tweets...the list is long.
What do you think would possible stand out amongst the blizzard of electronic and technological correspondence received by your ex every day?
Send Them a Handwritten Note I know...it's like going back in time, isn't it?! But think about how you would feel if the roles were indeed reversed and your ex took the time and effort to actually sit down and compose a handwritten note, seal it up and mail it. You would appreciate the extra effort involved and it would certainly get your attention, wouldn't it? This is one of the most powerful things you can to do start things on the path to making up.
For reconciliation to occur, you will need to find common ground regarding the reasoning for your breakup. Try putting in your note that you agree with the premise of the breakup and understand at least some of the reasoning behind it. This can often lead to walls coming down and your ex beginning to reconsider (but be careful as this can be done wrong and backfire).
